Original Kurzfassung:
Our recent work deals with the evaluation and development of several different miniaturized sensors for online oil condition monitoring. Tests under real online operating conditions are a crucial part of this evaluation. In the current contribution we report results of a first long-term field test, which was performed in a stationary gas engine for two selected sensors of our system: a microacoustic viscosity sensor and a permittivity sensor. These sensors were evaluated previously in the laboratory using well-defined oil samples. We conclude with an interpretation of the results for monitoring the deterioration of gas engine oils.
