Session 3: Latest results in laser-matter interactions and applications
Sprache des Tagungstitel:
Englisch
Original Kurzfassung:
This session is dedicated to Dieter Bäuerle, scientist by profession, worked for 30 years with Johannes Kepler University in Linz. In 1980, he and his team demonstrated the LCVD (laser-induced chemical vapor depostition) process for the first time, thereby demonstrating how 3D structures could be created by laser-induced depostion from the gas phase. In this regard, he was a pioneer of 3D printing. In addition, his scientific research was intrumental in exploring the interaction between lasers and matter.
