A market launch of a new automotive technology, e.g. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), involves thorough testing and validation. Besides a-proof-of-concept in a simulated environment, tests have to be conducted on a proving ground (PG). Planning and to completing all necessary tests in a short amount of time is challenging, specifically since it is still handled manually. Therefore, a toolchain is proposed that allows to automate the process with a PG description and a test set. It consists of a converter and a routing solver. Tests are commonly described by the standard OpenScenario, while proving grounds are described by OpenDrive. The converter extracts a non-directed graph from the PG description. The Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP), i.e. the problem of generating an optimal test schedule, is then formulated and solved.
