We study the possibility to use NN to classify the trees of the same species but with different age groups and visual-tree-assessment (VTA) scores.
As classification features we use a predicted Fourier coefficients of the sap flow density flux approximation function. In the long term, this approach which incorporates data generated
by the TT with the proposed Fourier coefficient estimation method can be used to determine the anomalous state of a tree or generally monitor forest ecology.
