Using LTE carrier aggregation in RF front-ends generates new self-interference problems like the so called "modulated-spur interference" where the Tx-leakage signal is down-converted into the receiver baseband where it reduces the wanted signal SNR. In this presentation, adaptive signal processing is used to mitigate this interference in the digital baseband. Comparing several adaptive algorithms shows, that a variable step-size least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm meets the required performance with low comoplexity.
