Original Kurzfassung:
The objective of this work is the development of methods to improve collaboration and interoperability in mechatronic design processes, in particular in early design phases (conceptual design). Although there are numerous methodologies and tools, their applicability and appropriateness in one-off developments with a relative low reusability is often problematic. Integrations of models from stand-alone authoring tools to automated tool-chains or implementations of workflows in PLM systems are not always effective due to a high implementation effort and a relatively low adaptability or customizability by end users. This work shows methods to analyze and model engineering processes with the aim to generate reusable and executable workflows. A multidisciplinary system model can serve as a basis for collaboration and interoperability. This system model covers the systems? structure, models of the design process and relationships on a fine-grained parameter level in conjunction with an approach to manage these individual parameters and parameter instances.
