The region of the Great Lakes in Africa is location of a giant conflict system with the DRC, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and the CAF in it's inner core. The introducing presentation described a scheme to analyze conflicts and conflict systems before in a workshop the participiants deconstructed one single conflict (Burundi) out of the system to analyze its actors and factors.
