1+1+1=1, metaphorically speaking : A model for blended teaching and learning

Insights into language teaching and learning in a F2F and online environment will be provided with the example of an outreach course currently offered at the University of Linz, Austria aimed at employed students and those not able to attend traditional courses on campus. A special focus will be placed on the roles of place and community, as wells as insights into teaching methodology and lessons learned. Course design and qualitative interview data from actual learners will provide further points for reflection.
