Original Kurzfassung:
This study dives into the electrochemical secrets of the Allende CV3 meteorite, checking out its potential as a Fe-based catalyst from Mackinawite iron sulfide to turn nitrogen into ammonia. Along the way, we found compounds like CN?, sulfur/H2S, H2, and carbonyls, and even discovered polypeptides like Gly3. These findings suggest that space rocks might be busy cooking up amino acids, giving us a cosmic clue about how life's building blocks might be scattered across the universe.
