Executive Summary
This document is devoted to present the final evaluation results to show effects and impacts of the NETC@RDS services in daily routine. Service evaluation covers impacts regarding administration, organisational and technical aspects as well as the acceptability of the users (i.e. operators and patients involved).
In former deliverables D6.1 and D6.2 the used methodology, the evaluation tools and data management are well described. Therefore methodological issues will be just briefly summarized at the beginning of the respective chapter in the present report. The available tools will be attached in the Annex.
The report is structured by two main sections: the general final evaluation results (part I) and the country related national reports (part II)
The final evaluation results focus on access to healthcare, the assessment of users++ and patients.
The present evaluation is based on all service units (SUs) which fulfill following criteria:
? using NETC@RDS on-line services in the daily routine > one months and,
? the availability of defined and valid data.
10 NETC@RDS countries* could be involved and, data were available from 120 service units using NETC@RDS services in daily routine.
The deadline for submitting data to be comprehended in the present calculation and analysis was the 13th May 2011.
The national evaluation reports and country related results are described in part II of this document.
For the present report aggregated data were used to mirror the assessment of the NETC@RDS services in daily routine.
Conclusions and recommendations will show how an added value of online services provided to health care professionals (HCPs), health insurance organisations (HIOs) and foreign patients could be improved in the future.
