In Austria the "Studienberechtigungsprüfung" is a possibility to fulfil the criteria for the admission to higher education in universities or academies. The objective of this kind of examination is to give working people a way for studying at the university, who had no chance in their lives to attend a secondary school and to graduate. On the other hand the university participates in the experiences of the working students especially in the social sciences working students bring a lot of new points of view to the lessons.
