Bi-capacities have been introduced as extensions of fuzzy measures assigning pairs of disjoint sets to some value on a bipolar scale. In this contribution we will investigate the aggregation of bi-capacities such that the aggregated mapping is again a bi-capacity. We will show that depending on additional properties of the bi-capacities which shall be preserved during the aggregation process only specific aggregation operators can be properly applied. The focus will be set on U-decomposable and additive bi-capacities as well as on bi-capacities of CPT Type.
