Methodenpluralismus und Interdisziplinarität, die Einbeziehung bereits bestehender Forschungsergebnisse, qualitative und quantitative Daten einer vierwöchigen Forschung verbinden die individuellen und gesellschaftlichen Aspekte auf einer analytischen Dimension. Experten mit entwicklungspolitischem Hintergrund haben mit Technikern und Ofen-Experten zusammengearbeitet, zusätzlich hat ein wissenschaftliches Beratungsteam wichtige kulturanthropologische und institutionelle Fragen geklärt. Basierend auf der Feldforschung werden individuelle, technische und gesellschaftlich-institutionelle Aspekte von Verbrennungstechnologien in Bhutan dokumentiert und analysiert, schließlich wird eine neue Nationale Strategie für die Verbreitung der österreichischen Technologie in den kommenden Jahren ausgearbeitet und vorgestellt.

This interdisciplinary multi-method approach attempts to take into account the plethora of different aspects already visited by existing research, as well as to link the individual and societal dimensions on an analytical level. In order to guarantee the application of the interdisciplinary approach, experts predominantly with backgrounds in development worked together with engineers and stove experts, and an advisory borard dealt with important cultural-anthropological and institutional issues. The report, based on a four weeks field-research, is documenting and analyzing the individual, technical and societal-institutional aspects of combustion technology in Bhutan and drafts a new National Strategy for the Dissemination of the Austrian Stove Technology in the coming years.
