Oslanjajuci se na djela Michaela Polanyija i Gilberta Ryleya, autor daje kratak prikaz onoga sto predstavlja poimanje presutnog znanja, te propituje intelektualisticko i objektivisticko poimanje znanja. Pri tom se pravi razlika izmedu raznih znacenja pojma "presutno" i razlicitih vrsta presutnog znanja. Na kraju, autor raspravlja o nekim implikacijama procesa usvajanja znanja.

Referring to the works of Michael Polanyi and Gilbert Ryle the lecture gives a sketch of what the tacit knowing view is all about and questions the intellectualistic and objectivistic view of knowledge. In doing so different meanings of the term "tacit" and different types of tacit knowledge are distinguished. Finally, some implications for the process of acquisition of knowledge are discussed.
