Englische Kurzfassung:
Although the World Wide Web was originally built for end-users and everything on it is machine-readable, not all data in the Web is suitable for further processing due
to lacks of being machine-understandable. It is very hard to integrate data on the Web because of the heterogeneity
of huge volumes of information, even in tourism. In this
paper, we propose a mediator based on the Resource Description Framework (RDF), a W3C standard, as a
foundation for processing metadata to provide interoperability between applications and to integrate the
heterogeneity of huge volumes of tourism information on the Web.
