Original Kurzfassung:
Green hydrogen is seen as a crucial energy carrier for a sustainable
future, but its role in the global energy system and potential
commercial applications at different scales, ranging from individual
households to whole industrial areas, must be studied. This project is
an interdisciplinary study of the feasibility of green hydrogen for local
mobility solutions. The project involves three participating groups that
focus on different topics and use different methods: IPPE will
compare production methods and limitations, ITS will work on the
development of concepts and methods, and IFG will study social and
gender aspects. The five objectives of the project include: (1)
analyzing and comparing existing green hydrogen concepts, (2)
examining potential shortcomings and safety issues, (3) studying
public acceptance of green hydrogen for mobility and transportation,
(4) developing a methodology for communal projects, and (5)
creating a short introductory course. The interdisciplinary approach is
crucial to the success of this project and will provide a
comprehensive examination of the challenges and opportunities of
using green hydrogen as a fuel source for transportation. The project
aims to improve overall acceptance and implementation of green
hydrogen solutions.
