Original Kurzfassung:
The Atlas Economic Research Foundation Network is an umbrella organization for neoliberal, libertarian and free-market think tanks. Think tanks are
broadly defined as organizations involved in policy-related research and consulting. As a ?political institution? think tanks have expanded their role in policy-planning since the 1970s due to the expansion of policy fields, broader participation, and an ever-increasing number of policy arenas both at national, regional and international levels. In this project, we investigate think tank activities in respect of politics of climate change or climate obstructione. At the core of the project is a systematic gathering and interpretation of information on climate change related activitities, authors and works of Atlas Network member think tanks in five world regions. Karin Fischer is responsible for the survey group Latin America.
