Original Kurzfassung:
The main intent of the project is the extension of the existing computational experience to elasto-plastic multi-body systems and to create such "smart" programs, which can perform a preliminary analysis of the multi-body system in question in an object-oriented programing language. That means that the mechanical behaviour of the component bodies should be characterized by hierarchical classes of objects. Standard mechanical bodies as rods, plates etc. should be implemented in connection whith various inelastic strain-stress relations. The program should be "intelligent" enough to choose the suitable computational strategy for solving the elasto-plastic problem of the whole multi-body system. Inelastic part of the strain is treated as a source of eigenstrains in linear elastic bodies, so that an analytical formulation of the elastic solids can be applied to the physically non-linear problems. Special attention will be paid to the use of finite element method with exact stiffness matrix. The efficiency of the approach will be increased by means of the linear concept of the influence numbers and modal matrix, since they will be computed before the main calculation. these concepts of the linear analysis are to be consistently applied to dynamics of elasto-plastic multibody dynamics.
