Up to now, the studied magnetically geared permanent magnet machine topologies were almost exclusively designs in which the motor and the magnetic gear were arranged coaxially in the same plane. This paper presents a new magnetically geared machine in side-by-side arrangement of motor and coaxial magnetic gear.
