For any use, is it to replace proportional by digital valves or for controlling digital systems like a digital displacement pump or a multi chamber cylinder, fast and accurate switching valves are needed to realize a digital system. Up to now, proven digital valves are rarely offered at the market, but numerous valves are on their way to the market. This paper gives an overview on marketable valves and valves approaching the market.
