Title:Optical Measurement System for Quality Control of PlasticsAuthor(s):Gregor Gerstorfer, Bernhard ZagarAbstract:An optical system to measure the degree of curing of extruded plastics will be presented. The setup consists of a mercury vapour UV–lamp and filters, so that the fluorescence and the phosphorescence of the specimen can be measured. In the luminescence spectrum the information about the curing ratio is quantized.
