In diesem EU-Projekt (Esprit) geht es um die Entwicklung wiederverwendbarer Softwarearchitekturen fuer die Prozessautomatisierung von Warmwalzwerken. Als Software-Technologie werden Objektorientierte Frameworks und Maschinelles Lernen eingesetzt. Der am Institut bearbeitete Teil des Projekts umfaßt die Teil-Frameworks für die Walzmodelle und die Visualisierung der Walzstraße.

This is an EU project (Esprit) dealing with the development of a reusable software architecture for the process automation of hot rolling mills. We employ object-oriented frameworks and machine learning as novel software development technologies. In the overall project our institute works on the subframeworks for mathematical modelling of the rolling process and the visualization of the mill.
