Sprache der Bezeichnung:
Englisch
Original Kurzfassung:
The planned demonstrator should give students, visitors (e.g. "Lange Nacht der Forschung", "Kinderuni", "Tag der offenen Tür", "Frauen in die Technik", etc.), and guests an impression on research and teaching topics in the scientific field of the curriculum Electronics and Information Technology. Hands-on experience shall be delivered by showcasing and implementing examples for Internet of Things (IoT), home automatization, as well as ultra-low-power electronics and radio frequency (RF) transceivers.
The overall demonstrator will be composed from a model-scale house with various rooms, containing several different sensor/actor mechanisms and scenarios for IoT and Smart Homes and will be controlled by an App on a tablet.
The sensor network demonstrator itself should be interactive, accessible, and programmable to give an interesting and playful experience for students, visitors, and guests. Nevertheless, beyond the simple demonstrator nature of the model house, the more interested audience can dig much deeper into technology, electronics, signal-processing, model-based design, etc. either by discussion or additional information on display boards and info-screen videos/presentations.
